Why switch to a hard surface flooring?

Carpet holds all the dirt and pet hair in the fibers no matter how much you clean it. Hard surface makes for a great choice if you or kids have allergies.

You're going to want to follow your manufactures recommendations for cleaning. Most manufactures say “No harsh chemicals, No wet mops or steam mops.” They could cause cupping around the edges or other issues with your floor.

Clean tile with wet mop or steam mop. You can use a tile approved cleaner or most all purpose cleaners will do the trick.

How do I move furniture around on my new floor without scratching it?

Definitely do not slide furniture across the new floor without furniture sliders. Use furniture sliders designed for hard surface flooring. They are typically felt and won’t scratch your new floor like plastic could.

What happens if I find a chip or scratch in my floor

Whether it’s a new floor or has been installed for years, call us and have us take a look at it to see what the next step could be. Most scratches are fixable and if they are not we can pull the piece or pieces and reinstall a new piece without jeopardizing the floor or pieces around it.
